Creative Director + Lead Designer

Michael is the founder and creative director of Grace & Ivy Floral Design, a boutique floral studio rooted in hospitality, service, and faith. Raised in Eastern North Carolina, his love for flowers first blossomed alongside his grandmother in her garden, where afternoons spent among hydrangeas and heirloom roses instilled a lifelong appreciation for beauty, connection, and the stories flowers can tell.

Inspired by her legacy and guided by a deep belief in serving others well, Michael founded Grace & Ivy as an extension of those values. Combining years of horticultural study with a passion for thoughtful design, he approaches each celebration with equal parts creativity and care, creating floral experiences that feel deeply personal and intentionally curated.

Known for his collaborative approach, Michael works closely with clients, planners, and creative partners to bring meaningful celebrations to life. Whether designing an intimate gathering along the Carolina coast or a destination wedding beyond, his work is grounded in the belief that flowers are more than décor—they are a reflection of a story, a season, and the people at the heart of it all.
