Michael is a designer, a cherished friend, and above all, a believer—rooted in the quiet beauty of Eastern North Carolina. His love for flowers was first cultivated in the garden beside his grandmother, where sunlight, soil, and simple blooms became a place of wonder. There, among the hydrangeas and heirloom roses, he discovered the joy of arranging what God had grown, a joy that continued to blossom even after her passing in 2013.

Grace & Ivy Floral Design was born from that legacy—an offering of gratitude, craftsmanship, and faith. Guided by years of horticultural study and a deep understanding of hospitality, Michael and his team approach each design as a narrative, weaving symbolism, texture, and emotion into every petal placed. They believe that floral design is more than décor; it is a way of honoring the stories God has written into our lives.
